Data from Sensor Tower indicates that ChatGPTās audience is increasingly skewing older. As of the second quarter of 2026, the share of global users aged 35 and older rose to 31%, up from 26% the previous year. Conversely, the share of users aged 18 to 24 declined. In the United States, nearly one in four smartphone-using parents reported using ChatGPT during the same period, a significant increase from 16% a year prior.
