OpenAI expands ChatGPT Ads with new management tools, automated drafting features and market reach in Asia
OpenAI has updated its ChatGPT Ads platform with new management tools, automated drafting features, and expanded geographic availability in Japan and South Korea.

1. New Features for ChatGPT Ads
OpenAI has introduced several updates to the ChatGPT Ads Manager to improve campaign management and performance tracking. Advertisers can now utilize custom audiences by uploading lists of 25,000 or more users to include or suppress specific groups, with the ability to set bid multipliers at the ad group level. A new overview tab has been added to help users monitor account health, analyze performance metrics through flexible trend charts, and review recommended tasks. Additionally, the platform now offers suggested ad drafts, which use existing website metadata to prefill ad titles, descriptions, and images for advertiser review.
2. Expanded Market Reach and Ad Formats
ChatGPT Ads are now officially live in Japan and South Korea, allowing businesses to target users in these regions. Alongside this geographic expansion, OpenAI has rolled out a refreshed static ad card format across both web and mobile platforms. This updated design is intended to be more compact and readable, featuring larger visual elements to improve user engagement. This design change was initially implemented in late June.
